Canoe Camp

We are very excited that you are considering joining us at Camp Okema's Canoe Camp!

We will begin our week at Camp Okema and learn some vital canoeing skills. After that, we’ll head up to Stanley Mission and canoe from there to Nistowiak Falls. On the way we’ll get to see the largest waterfall in Saskatchewan, worship in the oldest church in Saskatchewan, see some Indigenous rock paintings, and learn to run some rapids! It’s a great trip for beginners and experienced paddlers alike.

You do not need any former experience to come on this trip. We will schedule a zoom meeting with you to prepare you to pack. Parents are welcome to join us for that meeting.

If you are interested, but want to chat to a human about the trip, please email us with your name and number at [email protected] and one of our camp leaders, Brody or Sarah, will give you a call.

There will be a zoom call with preparation information for anyone registered for Canoe Camp on Wednesday, May 31st 2023 at 7pm. Register for the information meeting at https://forms.gle/FDiSiPiaia9a... If you miss this meeting, please email [email protected] and we will reach out.

Drop off at 2pm on July 16th 2023, pick up is at 11am on July 21st, both at Camp Okema.
